Meet black the cat. He truly believes that he is royalty and that we humans are his pets and servants. This golden collar (my ankle cuff) was not only a perfect fit around his fluffy neck but could also not be more appropriate for the king of cuddles. (remember this post ?)

I bet some designer somewhere thought "Let's make a simple cuff that would go really great with natural black cat hair. Well, obviously no one is going to skin a cat, but caressing a cat and wearing a cuff... brilliant!" And the designer created said cuff.

That is so cute. My Kittehn just had babies, two all twin white ones with grey ears and grey tails, kinda reminds me of you actually, an all black one and a grey and white striped one. Your cat looks so awesome in that, he does look like royalty.
How did you manage to do so? I've been trying to make my cat wear a collar since he was small and he doesn't want it AT ALL!!

oooh what a beautiful wonderful cat! looks amazing with the cuff. love love love your blog, especially the DIY's! but just a little heads up for you and everyone who have been writing that they're doing the same thing with their cat - i think that even though it's open in one end there's a big risk of the kitty getting caught and choking or breaking something(+ like someone wrote earlier, it's probably a little heavy and impractical for a cat to wear all the time). that's just experience after 20 years with cats, i'm sure all you cat lovers are aware of that big risk too and don't make your animals wear things like this except for photos etc.
